Adding
subjects
The teacher account
automatically provides
access to one math subject. Teachers can add additional subjects,
at no cost to them, by going to the setup tab at the top of the
screen and clicking on the link to add subjects. Teachers will
not be charged anything for these changes.

Using
the search feature
NutshellMath is searchable!
Just click on the
Math Topics tab in
the yellow bar at the top of the screen. The search bar is on
the right of the screen and searches for tutorials by key word. The
Math Topics page will also allow you
to quickly link to
lesson overviews for the most commonly searched terms. (If you
are on the Math Topics page and you do not see a list of overview,
titles just click on the drop down menu and change from “My
Textbook” to one
of the math subjects.) |

Quizzes
There are over 400 quizzes
available to allow students to prepare for tests and monitor their
mastery of each chapter. Each quiz answer has a multimedia tutorial
explaining the correct answer. You may access the quizzes directly
from the My Textbook
view, or by selecting the Take a Quiz tab in the yellow bar at
the top of the screen. (If you are on the Take a Quiz page and
you do not see a list of quiz titles, just click on the drop down
menu and change from “My Textbook” to one of the
math subjects.) |

NutshellMath’s
own textbooks
In case the book
you use in class
is not included,
we have created four
NutshellMath textbooks
you can navigate
by chapter title, section
title, and tutorial
title. For example,
if we do not cover the
Algebra textbook
that you use, you
may choose the NutshellMath
Algebra 1 textbook.
First choose the
chapter that best
matches your topic
and then a section title. This will open up a list of tutorial
titles on the right hand side that cover each subtopic within
the section. |
